My Approach to Therapy
My approach to therapy is collaborative. I believe emotions give us information about our needs. When we validate and honor our emotions, as opposed to judging or shoving them down, we stand a better chance of making effective decisions that are in line with our values. I aim to help therapy clients find a balance between gaining insight into what brought them to their current situation, and actively making changes toward wellness and healing.
My work is informed by Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavioral approaches.

Relationship/ Couples Therapy
I help people of all genders and sexual orientations, including gender non-binary, gay, transgender, lesbian, and heterosexual, folks identify relationship barriers and strengthen the original foundational friendship or connection. I use strategies from Gottman Institute, and Dialectial Behavioral Therapy (DBT), among others, in relationship/ couples work.
